Huawei Mate 30 Pro rear camera exposure; supposed to arrive with variable aperture, RYYB filter, Cine Lens and more

Huawei Mate 30 series maybe still a couple of months away from its official launch, but a long tail of rumors and leaks have been already surfaced on the web. Lately, a famous tipster Ice Universe shared some camera details to guess the device name, saying “40+40+8+ToF Guess which mobile phone is this?”. It was supposed to be Huawei Mate 30 Pro. Now, another reliable source shared a details information of Mate 30 Pro’s rear camera.

According to the source, Mate 30 Pro has a triple rear camera as mentioned above. The main sensor is expected to be a 40MP, 1/1.5″ sensor with a variable aperture of f/1.6 – f/1.4, similarly, we have seen on Samsung flagship smartphones. Further, it adds RYYB color filter to collect more light and Cene-lens.  Basically, Cine-Lens will be used to enhance the video quality and the company had recently filed a patent to secure its branding.

According to the patent application, Cine-Lens falls in the category of optical lenses for recording cinema photography giving it “Camera Matrix” of optical lenses, smartphones, and cameras. Moving to the secondary sensor, it is supposed to be a 40MP, 1/1.7″, a 120-degree ultrawide sensor to capture the wide-angle shots. The third and final lens is an 8MP telephoto lens with support of 5x lossless zoom.

Apart from that, recently leaked images suggest that Mate 30 Pro will arrive with a wider notch presumed to be used for 3D facial recognition and TOF. The device is expected to feature a 6.71-inch curved AMOLED display coupled with an in-display fingerprint sensor. It will have company’s self-made Kirin 985 chipset with the Balong 5000 5G modem for futuristic high-speed 5G technology. The device is speculated to bring a 4,200 mAh battery with 55W fast charging support and 10W wireless reverse charging.
