RealMe Snapdragon 855 smartphone with 64MP camera is on the way

RealMe is rumored to bring a true flagship device with Snapdragon 855 (Plus) processor. Finally, the RealMe CMO Xu Qi Chase breaks a big new regarding this device. Today, he released a question and answer video responding RealMe fans questions. When he was asked a question, “When will 855 and 64MP camera smartphone come out?” He responded with a device, that was entirely blurred to hide the actual information. However, it doesn’t reveal much information, but surely the 64MP smartphone is on the way with Snapdragon 855 or 855+ chipset under the hood.

Apart from that, the company has already confirmed that they will be launching the 64MP camera smartphone before the famous Indian festival Diwali, that is going to happen on October 27. We can expect the device will be officially released in October month nearby the festive season in India.

Earlier, The prototype revealed by the company shows the smartphone to use a quad-camera setup being main 64MP Samsung ISOCELL Bright GW1 sensor with the 1/1.7-inch sensor size and a pixel size of 0.8μm. The sensor also supports Samsung’s Tetracell technology, a unique moniker for Pixel Binning technology. If you are not familiar with Pixel Binning, It is a technique to combine four pixels into one; therefore, a 64MP camera actually produces a 16MP image. All in all, we aren’t far away to see a true flagship from RealMe.
