Realme Android 10 update schedule for China

Update 10 / 23 / 2019 – Madhav Seth, CEO of Realme India, officially confirmed the presence of ColorOS 7 for Realme smartphones. It clearly validates that the company is not interested in earlier rumored Realme OS, at least for next year (of course, it is in work). He further pointed out, “it will be a tweaked version of Color OS 7 with nearly stock Android look-alike user interface.” It is a piece of good news for those who were seeking a Stock Android experience within the custom features provided by the company. We have embedded the YouTube video below, where Mr. Madhav Seth stated all the mentioned things.

Oppo is gearing up to launch ColorOS 7, an upcoming UI from the company. Most of the current smartphones are running on ColorOS 6 based on Android 9 Pie. After the Android 10 came arrived, discussions have been started when the company will upgrade the current UI. Finally, the company has officially confirmed that Oppo will introduce ColorOS 7 by December 2019. At the official launch event of Oppo Reno 2 in Malaysia, Oppo confirmed that it will be one of the early adopters.

The new OS will be based on the latest Android 10. We can expect some of the features borrowing from Stock Android, even though the company didn’t yet confirm any of the features of ColorOS 7. Apart from that, Oppo’s sister company Realme has started collecting feedbacks from its users. Based on feedback, we can predict ColorOS features. Below are the presumed features what the people actually want to see in next ColorOS 7:

ColorOS 7 expected features

  • Cloud Service Increases Cloud Disk Function
  • The automatic flow correction function
  • Applying the avatar function
  • Turning off the flashlight shortcut
  • In-display fingerprint special effects are too glaring
  • Screen fingerprint unlocking brightness adjustment
  • Camera time watermark
  • Adding Dual Card Network Switching Shortcuts
  • Turn off transition animation, window animation, after the transition period, the splash screen appears
  • Increase Power Consumption Graph
  • Game with Voice Changer Function
  • Bluetooth Headset Tuning Sound
  • Adding a button to clear the bottom of the notification bar
  • Recording screen can select the internal sound or all sound of the recording system

Moreover, we want to make sure that these are just suggestions, what the company has got from users. There is no guaranty whether the company will include or not! We would be hoping to see a completely new user interface and new icons. The Android 10 Operating System is more focused on security concerns. As ColorOS 7 is based on the latest Android, most of its features will automatically become available.

ColorOS 7 release date for Oppo, Realme Phones

As we have mentioned above, Oppo has confirmed to release ColorOS 7 in December for Oppo Reno 2. Therefore, ColorOS 7 release date may take place anytime soon within a couple of months. Oppo Reno 2F will get ColorOS 7 update in Q1, 2020. Definitely, the company is giving priority to its latest smartphones. OPPO Reno 10X Zoom has been already confirmed to get the ColorOS 7 by Oppo VP. It doesn’t mean the company will ignore other smartphones. Presumably, the company might cover all the smartphones launched within 2 years of the time period. We don’t have any concrete evidence, so we can’t make any claim.
