Exynos 9610 / Exynos 9611 Phones List to buy in 2019-20

Exynos 9610 is an upper mid-range chipset from Samsung. It is extraordinary the company didn’t use much in its mobile phones and gets yet another successor named Exynos 9611. Both the chipsets share almost identical specifications. Both pack a dual-cluster octa-core CPU with four powerful Cortex-A73 cores clocked @2.3GHz and remaining power efficient 4x Cortex-A53 @1.7GHz. The GPU is Mali-G72 MP3, which is a competent unit to handle graphics-intensive tasks.

Samsung Galaxy A50

As we mentioned earlier, the Samsung Galaxy A50 is the only smartphone utilizing Exynos 9610 processor. It features 6.4-inch 1080 x 2340 pixels Full HD+ Super AMOLED display. The handset arranges Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection to guard the front panel. A plastic body design crafts the device. There are multiple storage variants; 4GB RAM / 64GB storage, 4GB RAM / 128GB storage and 6GB RAM / 128GB of built-in storage. It has a dedicated slot, which allows it to expand the storage up to 1TB via an external micro SD card.

Android 9 Pie operates the device with a custom skin on the top to enhance the user experience. The optics departments manage to grab a triple 25 MP, f/1.7 (wide) + 8 MP, f/2.2 (ultra-wide) + 5 MP, f/2.2 (depth) rear camera, and another 25MP f/2.0 aperture front camera to capture selfies. Additionally, it packs 4,000 mAn non-removable battery with 15W fast charging support.

Samsung Galaxy A50s

Samsung Galaxy A50s was the first smartphone to use the latest Exynos 9611 processor with slight improvements over the Galaxy A50. It has the same 6.4-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display, which isn’t bad at all. The camera department is where we have seen some significant upgrades. It brings triple 48 MP, f/2.0, (wide) + 8 MP, f/2.2 (ultrawide) + 5 MP, f/2.2 (depth) rear camera and a single 32MP selfie shooter. The company has enhanced the main sensor, while, the remaining sensors are the same for the primary shooter. Front-camera also gets an improved version.

Samsung Galaxy A50s

Most of the remaining specs are the same. It also boasts the same 4,000 mAh battery, same storage variants, and Android 9 Pie operating system. It is powered by the upgraded Exynos 9611 chipset clocked @2.3GHz and Mali-G72 MP3 GPU to endure the gaming section. All the essential connectivity options are present on this device. It is already up for sale in India.

Samsung Galaxy M30s

Samsung Galaxy M30s is the latest smartphone to make our list. The Exynos 9611 processor powers the device as well as several other similarities with the above-listed devices. The phone packs a 6.4-inch 1080 x 2400 pixels Full HD+ Super AMOLED display. Android 9 Pie operates the device with custom OneUI on the top. There are two storage variants either 4GB RAM and 64GB storage or 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The storage is further expandable up to 1T via an external micro SD slot.

Samsung Galaxy M30s

The key highlight of this device is a massive 6,000 mAh non-removable battery with 15W fast charging support. A polycarbonate plastic design crafts it just like the Samsung Galaxy A50 and A50s. Even after stuffing a massive battery, the device only weighs 188 grams and thickness is only 8.9. The company has done a tremendous job; the balance the weight is the right way. This could be a good choice for those who travel a lot.


There are no big changes between Exynos 9610 and 9611. Even, the above mentioned all the mobile phones share equal specifications.
