Vivo had recently announced two new smartphones, Vivo X30 and X30 Pro phones. At the same event, the company showcased the latest FuntouchOS 10 with plenty of latest features. It gets several improvements over its predecessor FuntouchOS 9. The release date has been already outed for several Vivo smartphones. The company says that the official rollout will start in February in the domestic market China.

Soon we can expect this to be moved to global markets, especially in India, where the company has a vast number of Vivo phone users. In this article, we will be discussing FuntouchOS 10 features, release date, and other related information. So, without any further delay, let’s get started!

Funtouch OS 10 Features

The Funtouch OS 10 brings a new minimalistic design, with in-built redesign apps, new system dynamics, and light-color palate across the interface. The latest update gets several performance improvements, quick sharing features, new live wallpapers, animated lock screen, and a new feature that allows users to collect articles and videos on the side of the screen for later reading and viewing.

Quick Sharing Features

This is the unique thing that the company has especially pointed out. The application sharing is indeed a screen Synchronisation option that let you share your screen with other Vivo device to watch videos and play games. This feature can be handy if you want to share your device media to other Vivo smartphone. It is well capable of sharing liven games with your friends, as well as videos and movies.

Animated Lock Screen

As the name suggests, now the FuntouchOS 10 users can set animated lock screen wallpapers. The feature gives an attractive look while your phone is locked.

Live Wallpapers

The live wallpapers let you set the movable wallpapers on your home screen, just like a small video clip. This feature can also be found on several other custom skins such as MIUI 11 ad OneUI 2.0. Overall, Funtouch OS 10 is taking a dig on its competitors.

Performance Improvements

With the minimalistic design, Funtouch OS 10 experience is now smoother and faster than the Funtouch OS 9. There are several changes made by the company to improve the overall experience.  As it borrows some of the features from Android 10, we can see Digital Wellbeing parental control options, which is now mandatory for any device running on the latest Android 10 operating system. Device security has been improved significantly. Still, the icons are inspired by iOS, but the shape is slightly different than the older one.

JOVI Smart Voice Assistance

Vivo was initially rumored to rename the Funtouch OS with JOVI OS. But the company withdrew this idea just before the official launch of Funtouch OS 10. The company still using the “JOVI” name scheme for its smart voice assistant. However, it doesn’t compete against Google voice assistance, which is one of the finest in its category. But the company has tried to improve its overall experience. Now, it is even smarter than before.
