It seems all of the attention of gaming journalists over the last few months has been firmly focused on two subjects.
Whatever you read at the moment, it seems to be either about the PlayStation 5 or the Xbox Series X, both of which will soon be in many homes around the world.

Here are some of the new games out that you can play on hardware that’s been out all year but are being overshadowed by the imminent arrival of the two new big consoles.
Mario’s new (and old) adventures
Whilst all the attention is on Sony and Microsoft, the third console brand of the big three is also offering some very tempting titles before the end of the year.
Nintendo has banked on their most popular character to try and tempt gamers to buy a Nintendo Switch rather than the other two consoles.

A more modern game that’s been released already is the highly innovative Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit. The game comes with a toy car that you can drive around your room with your Switch controller.
Thanks to a camera at the front of the physical car, the game transforms your room into a classic track full of the usual bananas and mushroom shells we’ve come to love from the series.
