Exynos 850 chipset was announced on June 2, 2020. It packs an octa-core Cortex-A55 based CPU running at 2.0GHz frequency. It arrives with Mali-G51 MP1 GPU to handle the graphics-hungry tasks. As for optics, either it supports dual 16MP + 5MP camera or a single 48MP camera, which can be reduced to 21.7MP lens if used on 30Fps. There is LPDD4X RAM support coupled with 8nm LPP architecture.
The chipset can handle up 1080 x 2520 pixels Full HD+ display at 60Hz. The video playback can go up to Full HD+ as mentioned on the company’s official website. It comes with built-in 4G modem with up to 300Mbps download and 150Mpbs upload speed. All in all, this is an entry-level chip designed for affordable smartphones.
