Samsung Exynos 9609 uses 10nm process and arrives with octa-core CPU, where higher four ARM Cortex-A73 cores are clocked at 2.2 GHz, while, the rest four power-efficient Cortex-A53 cores clocks at 1.6 GHz. It supports the second generation Mali-G72 MP3 GPU to handle the graphics-intensive tasks.
As for optics, the chip can hold up to 24MP or Dual 16MP + 16 cameras on both front and rear. The video recording capabilities are really impressive because it can record 4K Ultra HD video @120fps, Full HD 1080p video @480p slo-mo and 720p HD video @960 fps slo-mo. In addition, all the essential connectivity options are present on this SoC such as Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, 802.11ac 2×2 MIMO Wi-Fi, GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo, up to 600 Mbps download speed and 150 Mbps upload speed limit.
The Exynos 9610 scores 1,601 points for single-core results and 5,377 points for multi-core results. The Antutu benchmark average scores are 1,40,000 to 1,50,000 points.
