MediaTek Dimensity 800 was announced on January 7, 2020. The chipset utilizes four Cortex-A76 @2.0GHz as well as another 4x Cortex-A55 cores clocked at same 2.0GHz clock speed. It is fabricated on the 7nm super-efficient processing node. The GPU department comes with Mali-G57 MP4 to handle the graphics-intensive tasks. It delivers qual-core APU 3.0 by providing up to 2.4TOPs.
It supports up to 1080 x 2520 pixels Full HD+ display 90Hz refresh rate and LPDDR4X RAM offering. The chipset brings the 32MP + 16MP dual cameras or a single 64MP single-camera support on either side. It is well capable of recording up to 4K 2160p UHD playback video. All the essential connectivity options are available including 5G sub-6, Dual-Band GNSS, Wi-Fi 6 (a/b/g/n/ac/ax)? and Bluetooth 5. Benchmark scores are not yet available.
