Realme X2 along with Realme Buds Air launched in India

Realme X2 smartphone finally lands in India as it was promised. However, there is nothing new to know about its configurations. Because the same device is already up for sale in the domestic market China and some European markets. The only thing we were waiting to know about its pricing and availability in the country. The smartphone comes in multiple storage variants.

The base variant with 4GB RAM / 64GB storage costs Rs. 16,999. The higher variant with 6GB RAM / 128GB is priced at Rs. 18,999, which goes up to Rs. 19,999 for the top 8GB RAM / 128GB storage variant. As for availability, the device will start selling from December 20 via Flipkart and the company’s own online store. The device comes in three Pearl White, Pearl Blue and the new Pearl Green color options.

Moreover, the company also introduces true wireless Realme Buds Air at the same event. These are truly wireless earbuds with customized R1 chip that supports super-low latency over Bluetooth 5.0. The company launches these earbuds at a very aggressive price point. The pair of Realme wireless earbuds only costs Rs. 3,999, which is one of the cheapest from any well-known brand for the Indian market. The company also hints to soon launch Realme-branded Qi Wireless Charger in India. It will worth to note that Realme Buds Air brings wireless charging case out of the box.

Realme X2 Specifications

The smartphone accumulates a 6.4-inch 1080 x 2340 pixels Full HD+ Super AMOLED display. It is powered by the Snapdragon 730G SoC based octa-core CPU. To recall, the chipset is specifically designed for the enhanced gaming experience, therefore, we can expect some enhanced gaming experience. The camera rear-mounted camera module utilizes the quad-camera setup with 64MP GW1 sensor + 8MP (ultra-wide) + 2MP (macro) + 2MP and a massive 32MP front-facing shooter.

An in-display fingerprint sensor is embedded under the display. The handset packs 4,000 mAh non-removable battery with 30W VOOC Flash Charge 4.0 fast charging support. It runs on Android 9 Pie based on custom ColorOS. All the essential connectivity options are available including NFC.
