Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 was announced on January 21, 2020. The chipset uses an octa-core CPU clocked @2.0GHz for higher Kryo 260 cores. There is an Adreno 610 integrated GPU to handle the graphics-intensive task. It can support up to dual 16MP or single 192MP camera on both front and rear portion. Further, it is well capable of recording up to 4K video @30fps. The SoC architecture is manufactured on the 11nm processing node.

The Snapdragon 662 to has Snapdragon X11 LTE modem, which can go up to 390Mbps download and 150Mbps upload speed. All the essential connectivity options are available on this chipset. It uses several AI techniques handled by Hexagon 683 DSP AI processor. All in all, it gets slightly lower specifications to take place of Snapdragon 665 at a more affordable price point.
