Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 AIE was announced on May 24, 2018. To clear the confusion, Snapdragon 710 AIE is the same chipset as Snapdragon original 710. The AIE is just a marketing term used for “Artificial Intelligence Engine.” It is equipped the Octa-Core CPU with two high custom Kryo 360 cores clocked at 2.2 GHz and lower six Kryo 360 cores clocked at 1.7 GHz. The chipset pack Adreno 616 GPU to perform the graphics-intensive tasks. It supports up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM with 1440 x 3360 pixels QHD+ display.
The SoC can hold up to dual 16MP + 16MP and up to 192 MP both front and rear camera. It is fabricated on the 10nm process and arrives with LTE X15 model, that offers up to 800 Mbps download and 150 Mbps upload speed. Other features include Hexagon 685 DSP, Quick Charge 4.0, GPS, Qualcomm Spectra 165 with 2x ISP, Bluetooth 5.0, dual-band WiFi and dual VoLTE.
The Snapdragon 710 AIE scores 1899 points for single-core and 5966 points for multi-core. When it comes to Antutu, the average AnTuTu score is positioned at 1,66,935 points. Overall, a good premium mid-range chipset.
