Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 was announced on April 9, 2019. It is powered by the Octa-Core CPU with two high-frequency custom Kryo 470 cores clocked at 2.2 GHz based on Cortex-A76 and lower six Kryo 470 cores are clocked at 1.7 GHz based on Cortex-A55. It is combined with Adreno 618 GPU @700 MHz for graphics-intensive tasks. The chipset can hold up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM with 1080 x 2520 pixels Full HD+ display. The supports up to dual 22MP + 22MP and a single up to 192 MP for both front and rear camera modules.
It is fabricated on the 8nm process and comes with LTE X15 model, that offers up to 800 Mbps download and 150 Mbps upload speed. Other features include Hexagon 688 DSP, Quick Charge 4+, GPS, Qualcomm Spectra 350 with 2x ISP, Bluetooth 5.0, dual-band WiFi and dual VoLTE.
The Snapdragon 730 scores 2548 points for single-core and 6763 points for multi-core. Moreover, the average AnTuTu score is 2,07,082 points, which may vary device to device. Overall, a good premium mid-range chipset.
