Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G was announced on May 11, 2020. It comes with upgraded CPU & GPU compared to vanilla 765G. The SoC packs octa-Core CPU clocked @2.8GHz using custom Kryo cores. It utilizes Samsung’s 7nm EUV node for enhanced power efficiency. The Adreno 620 GPU handles the graphics intensive task @750MHz. As for optics, it can support up to dual 25MP + 25MP cameras or a single 192MP camera after compromising in some areas. The camera is well capable of recording up to 4K Ultra-HD videos @30fps.
The Snapdragon 768G supports Quick Change 4+ for faster charging. All the essential connectivity options are present on this chipset. The SoC brings an integrated X52 5G modem, which can deliver up to 3.7Gbps download and 1.2Gbps upload speeds under 5G network. Overall, it comes with better CPU and GPU performance offering rest of the similar specs to its predecessor Snapdragon 765G.
