Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus was launched in July 2019. It arrives with tri-cluster Octa-Core CPU one powerful Kryo 460 core clocked @2.96 GHz, three cores clock @2.42 GHz and final four cores are clocked @1.78 GHz. The chipset comes with boosted Adreno 640 GPU with 700MHz speed. It can maximumly adopt up to Dual 22MP + 22MP, single 48MP, MFNR, ZSL or 192MP both front and rear coupled with quad-channel LPDDR4X RAM support.
It supports up to 4K resolution display with HDR10+ compatibility. The SoC is fabricated on TSMS’s 7nm process. The LTE department is taken care by the X24 LTE modem with whooping 2Gbps download and 316Mbps upload support. It also supports 5G connectivity with external Snapdragon X50 Modem.
The Snapdragon 855 Plus scores 3623 points in single-core and 11367 in multi-core on Geekbench testing. In Antutu benchmarks, it is positioned on top and became the first to reach near 5,00,000 points. IQOO 5G Pro based on Snapdragon 855 Plus scores 4,97,179 points in a recent Antutu listing. It will worth noting that scores may vary from device to device because of different optimizations.
