Xiaomi Mi 9 256GB storage variant officially lands in China

Today, Xiaomi launches a new variant of Mi 9 smartphone with 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Needless to say, the rest of the specs to remain identical to Mi 9 as it only upgrades the storage. Regarding the price, it costs 3,299 Chinese Yuan or roughly converted into 470$. The device will start selling from August 14, additionally, wireless charges can be bought for 99 CNY (15$) along with the handset.

Speaking to the specs, the Mi 9 smartphone features 6.39-inch 1080 x 2340 pixels Full HD+ AMOLED display. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 octa-core chipset paired with Adreno 640 GPU. As for optics, it has three rear cameras and a single front-facing shooter for selfies. Other variants offered by this device is 6GB RAM and 64GB storage or 8GB RAM and 128GB of built-in storage.

The Mi 9 packs 3300 mAh non-removable battery having 27W fast charging support. It runs on Android 9 Pie based on the company’s own MIUI custom user interface. It is an embedded in-display fingerprint sensor to unlock the device. All the required connectivity features are available on this device.
