Black Shark 2 Pro goes official in China, Price is really aggressive

BlackShark finally announces its next-generation gaming smartphone called Black Shark 2 Pro. Basically, it is an upgraded version of Black Shark, that comes with minor upgrades its predecessor. The smartphone is highly customized to enhance the gaming experience as the BlackShark is a gaming division of one of the most popular smartphone brand Xiaomi.

Black Shark 2 Pro Specifications

Further moving to the specs, Black Shark 2 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+; that comes as an overclocked version of original Snapdragon 855 and further gaming boost up to 15%. It accumulates 6.39-inch 1080 x 2340 pixels Full HD+ AMOLED display on the top. The company claims that they have managed to bring down tough latency as low as 34.7ms compared to 43.5ms on the Black Shark 2. Further, it adds under-display fingerprint sensor as we have seen on Black Shark 2.

The handset comes with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.0 built-in storage. When it comes to optics, it has dual 48MP + 12MP rear camera and a 20MP front-facing shooter to capture selfies. It packs 4,000 mAh non-removable battery having a 27W fast charging support and runs custom UI based Android 9 Pie out of the box. Further, there is a liquid cooling 3.0 function added to remain the device cooler in different scenarios. Overall, the brings some significant upgrades over Black Shark 2 to influence the gaming lover consumers.

Black Shark 2 Pro Pricing and Availability

The Black Shark 2 Pro is priced at 2,999 CNY or roughly converted into $435 for the base 12GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, which goes up to 3,499 CNY for the 12GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It will start selling from August 2 in China and comes in Black, Silver, Blue, Orange, and Purple color option. As of now, the company didn’t reveal about its global launch, but we can see this happening soon.
