Oppo earlier confirmed a smartphone called Reno Ace with whooping 65W superVOOC charging support out of the box. The company finally confirms to launch this device on October 10. The Chinese firm has been specializing to bring some of the fastest charging adapters for its older models.
Furthermore, the device will have a 90Hz display, that is becoming a new norm for the smartphone industry. Further, it packs 4,000 mAh no-removable battery pack, Oppo VP Brian Shen confirms recently. Apart from that, other specs of the device are not yet known. But going with provided specs, this appears to be another smartphone in Oppo’s flagship lineup.
Moreover, Chinese firms are heavily investing in quick charging technology. The Xiaomi recently showcased a whopping 100W Super Charge Turbo, which is capable of charging a 4,000 mAh battery only in 17 Minutes. And the evolution of 30W wireless charging happened recently when the company announced the industry’s first 30W wireless charger. it can charge 4000 mAh battery to 50% in just 25 minutes and a full 100% charge can be in 69 minutes.
Another Chinese firm Huawei also gets approval from FCC to produce up to 30W fast wireless charging adapter. In the coming days, we can see some insane fast charging capabilities to make the 5G technology more sustainable. Needless to say, 5G is power-hungry, so fast charging has become a necessity especially for 5G smartphones.
