Samsung Galaxy A90 5G with Snapdragon 855, triple camera goes official

Samsung today announced a new smartphone dubbed as Galaxy A90 5G to increase its 5G smartphones portfolio. The device pack top-notch specification just like other Samsung flagship but expected to be less pricy given that “A” series belongs to mid-range segments.

Moving to the specs, the Samsung Galaxy A90 5G comes with 6.7-inch 1080 x 2400 pixels Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset coupled with Adreno 640 GPU. Under the hood, it packs a 4400 mAh non-removable battery to keep the lights on, further, it adds 25W fast charging support.

For optics, the handset brings triple 48MP + 8MP (ultrawide) + 5MP (depth) rear camera and a 32MP camera on the front. Both front and rear cameras are well capable of recording up to 4K video @30fps, but the rear camera has the advantage to record 720p @960fps super slo-mo video. Regarding the storage, it has 128GB internal storage paired with 6/8GB RAM, which can be further expanded up to 512GB RAM (only for 6GB RAM variant).

The smartphone runs on Android 9 Pie based on custom One UI. As far as design is concerned, it is made of full glass design, the rear is Corning Gorilla Glass 6 surrounded by Aluminium frames.  All the essential connectivity options are present on this device.
