Samsung’s rugged smartphone XCover 4s officially announced for €299.99

Samsung officially announced a new rugged smartphone called Samsung Galaxy XCover 4s as expected. The first country to get this device is Italy, further, we can expect to be launched in other parts of the world.

Being it a part of the XCover family, the device is IP68 certified against water and dust and fulfill the MIL-STD 810G compliant standards. It has a 5-inch TFT HD display on the front. The handset is powered by the Exynos 7885 processor and packs a 2,800 mAh non-removable battery. As far as storage is concerned, It has 32GB built-in storage coupled with 3GB of RAM under the hood.

The device measurements are 145.9 x 73.1 x 9.7 mm running on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box. As for optics, it is equipped with a 16MP f/1.7 aperture rear and 5MP f/2.2 front camera. Further, it employs a dedicated XCover button on the side, that can be used to launch preferable apps as it is fully customizable. Overall, the device is oriented to use in rough conditions and comes with some handy features.

As we mentioned above, Italy is the only market to get this device, where, it is priced at 299 Euro. When it comes to availability, the device will be available for sale from July without revealing the exact date. There are no words from the company about its availability in other markets, but surely it will be limited similar to its predecessor.
