Vivo Nex 3 is one of the most anticipated smartphones of 2019. The device is set to launch in September and it will be called NEX 3 5G, Nex official Weibo handle confirms today. However, the company didn’t reveal the exact date, but we can expect to be announced soon. A few days ago, Nex division product manager Li Xiang had confirmed to retain the 3.5mm audio jack and revealed the sketch of the actual device by revealing the side by side design of Vivo Nex 3.

Vivo Nex 3 sketch

Based on the schematic sketch, Vivo Nex 3 5G to features an extreme curvature waterfall display with minimal top and bottom bezels. The absence of the front-facing camera indicates it to arrive with the in-display camera. It is said that Vivo has solved the “window effect” problem faced by the under-screen camera and fully ready for commercial use. Indeed, there is no physical button on either side, and the display is sharply bent towards the edges giving it a waterfall look.

On the back, it has a triple rear camera, which seems to be inspired by an automatic wristwatch. The Nex logo is imprinted at the middle of the rear bottom. Rest of the back is pretty much clean. The sketch further reveals a 3.5mm headphone jack, a speaker and a microphone placed at the top. The device is expected to bring in-display fingerprint sensor. In addition, we can expect the Snapdragon 855+ processor powering the device with 5G support.
