Vivo Nex 3 official sketch unpacks the full design of upcoming flagship

Vivo Nex product manager officially published a sketch of upcoming Vivo Nex 3 by exposing the full design. The front has a waterfall display, the rear side gets a triple camera. The device is likely to bring an in-display camera and fingerprint sensor.

Vivo product manager Li Xiang earlier confirmed the 3.5mm audio jack presence and shared a front-glass panel exposing the front portion. He further publishes a sketch of upcoming Vivo flagship, which almost unpacks the full design of the device. There is no doubt remains the smartphone will arrive with an extreme curvature design to achieve nearly 100% screen to body ratio.

Vivo Nex 3 design & physical overview

As per seen in the above image, The front panel of the device accumulates full display design with thin top and bottom bezels. The absence of the front-facing camera indicates it to arrive with the in-display camera as suggested by some rumors. It is said that Vivo has solved the “window effect” problem faced by the under-screen camera and fully ready for commercial use. Indeed, there is no physical button on either side, and the display is sharply bent towards the edges giving it a waterfall look. That is why the new display design is being called the “waterfall display.”

The rear panel of the device gets a triple rear camera, which seems to be inspired by an automatic wristwatch. The Nex logo is imprinted at the middle of rear bottom. Rest of the back is pretty much clean. The sketch further reveals a 3.5mm headphone jack, a speaker and a microphone placed at the top. The physical fingerprint sensor can be found, neither on the back nor front, suggesting under-display fingerprint mechanism.

Vivo Nex 3 specs and launch date

Moreover, the device is expected to boast a Snapdragon 855+ processor under the hood. Multiple official disclosures also suggest that the company is all set to make it official. According to some Chinese reports, the device will be officially announced somewhere in the September month.
