Vivo Y12 to hit the Indian market soon with 5,000 mAh battery and Triple rear cameras

Vivo has announced a new affordable smartphone called Vivo Y12 for the Indian market. It offers a massive 5,000 mAh battery that should be the key selling point unlike the other selfie centric smartphones from the company.

Speaking to the specs, the handset features a 6.35-inch Halo FullView HD+ display on the front. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio P22 octa-core processor clocked at 2.0 GHz under the hood. When it comes to storage, it has up to 64GB of built-in storage coupled with 4GB RAM. The optics department is handled a triple camera on the rear – a main 13MP f/2.2 unit, an ultrawide or telephoto 8MP f/2.2 secondary cam and a 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor, whereas, It has an 8MP f/2.2 snapper on the front to capture selfies.

Furthermore, the device runs on Android 9 Pie out of the box on the top of the company’s own custom FunTouch 9 skin. For connectivity, the device offers all the necessary options like WiFi, Bluetooth, dual SIM slot and USB port for charging. As I mentioned above, it has a whopping 5,000 mAh battery to provide it enough juice for the long run including reverse charging feature to charge the other devices.

Vivo Y12 Pricing and Availability in India

The Vivo Y12 comes in two variants: either 3GB RAM + 32GB storage or 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage. The base variant is priced at 11,999 INR, which goes up 12,999 INR for higher variant. When it comes to availability, the device is said to be available in the offline market while there are no words from the company on this matter.
