Xiaomi launches industry’s first 30W Wireless Mi Turbo Charge

Xiaomi finally unveils the world’s first 30W Wireless Turbo Charging at an even held in China. The company claims that they have reached the practical stage and ready to commercialize it.

Therefore, we can see future Xiaomi smartphones to adopt this technology. At the event, Xiaomi also confirms, its forthcoming Mi 9 Pro 5G smartphone to become the first one to adopt Mi Charge Turbo wireless charging.

According to the company, it can charge a 4000 mAh battery to 50% in just 25 minutes and a full 100% charge can be in 69 minutes. It will worth noting that the Xiaomi is not the only one in this race. Recently, Huawei has also got certified with 30W wireless charger from FCC. We can expect this would be the new standard for the coming wireless adapters.

In addition, the company has already tested 100W Super Turbo Charge for wired charging. The speeds are insane because it is capable of charging 4000 mAh battery in just 17 minutes. In comparison, Huawei has also tested 55W wired charger with full charging of 3750 mAh battery in 35 minutes and Oppo’s SuperVOOC 50W is also in the listing.
