Xiaomi officially confirms to announce Redmi Note 8 series on 29 August

Xiaomi officially confirms to unveil its much anticipated Redmi Note 8 series on August 29. The teaser indicated a quad rear camera including a physical fingerprint sensor underneath. As always, the company didn’t reveal much information about its forthcoming devices but confirms 64MP camera on one of these smartphones, which is expected to be the Samsung GW1 sensor. Speculations have it the Redmi Note 8 Pro will sport the new 64MP camera with a quad-camera setup. The company has already started mass-production for this smartphone, Lu Weibing informed recently.

Earlier, Samsung and Xiaomi had jointly announced 64MP camera sensor with pixel-isolated ISOCELL PLUS technology for high color reproduction and plenty of other features such as hybrid 3D HDR, real-time HDR with a wider dynamic range of photos, and clear backlighting. The new camera uses Pixel Binning technology to achieve higher resolution.

Additionally, Redmi vice president Lu Weibing previously confirmed that the Redmi Note 8 smartphone will have higher screen to body ratio, long-lasting battery, batter in-hands feel and clearer camera. Apart from that, we don’t have much information available about this duo; therefore, we have to wait for the official launch.
