It is very interesting that Lik itself was a smoker but he quit smoking after the death of his father who was a smoker due to Lung Cancer. Despite quitting smoking he started working on a project in which he was trying to make a product to be an alternative to smoking.
He applied for a patent in 2003 and after getting the approval. The very first E-Cigarette hit the Chinese market in 2004.
In its early day’s e-cigarettes didn’t match the expectations of consumers but that was the first generation product.
In the last 15 years, the Vaping Industry has gone through three generations making e-cigarettes a preferable choice for usual smokers to quit their smoking in favor of vaping.
