Alleged Vivo V17 leaked in a video, specification confirmed

With the previously available information, we have learned that Vivo is soon going to launch a standard V17 smartphone by the end of this month. The device has been portrayed in leaked images multiple times and a new leak further adds the front view. A new Vietnamese song uploaded on Youtube displays the front and rear panel of alleged Vivo V17, even though the company didn’t yet confirm its name.

As you can see in images, the rear side gets the quad-camera setup along with an LED flashlight. Vivo logo with the company’s tagline “Camera and Music” is imprinted underneath. This sort of reminds the Vivo S5 arrangement, but LED flash replaces the 4th camera in comparison to Vivo S5. The front side gets a notched panel, which seems to be flattered. Considering the specs, the Chinese authority site TEENA has already certified device carrying model numbers V1945A / V1945T, which could be Vivo V17.

Vivo V17 Expected Specifications

According to TEENA listing, the device features 6.38-inch 1080 x 2340 pixels Full HD+ AMOLED display. It is powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 2.0 GHz. It boasts a quad-camera setup on the back including 48MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP sensors and another 32MP front-facing shooter for selfies. There are multiple storage variants; either 6GB RAM & 128GB storage or 8GB RAM paired with 256GB of built-in storage.

The handset packs 4390 mAh non-removable battery with fast charging support. It utilizes the in-display fingerprint sensor for security purposes. The smartphone measures 159.25×75.19×8.68 mm, and weight is 186.7 grams. Overall, specifications suggest a nearly identical device to Vivo S5. For further confirmation, we have to wait for the official launch.
