Asus recently launched a new gaming smartphone called Asus ROG Phone II and afterward, it went for pre-orders in home country China. The device is now getting very impressive numbers with pre-orders as it has been already registered by more than 1.6 Million people only on JD.COM. The main reason behind these numbers must be its aggressive pricing as the device only costs 3499 CNY for base Tenscent variant or roughly converted into approx. 510 US$.
Further, Gsmarena reports that the Tencent variant comes with plenty of pre-installed bloatware on this aggressively priced version for the local market. If you want to purchase non-Tencent variant, you have to 5,999 CNY for the 12GB RAM and 128GB storage, which isn’t cheap at all, while, the price goes up to 6,199 CNY for the 512GB storage variant with the same quantity of RAM. The first sale will be kicked off on July 31 as various retailers have started taking pre-orders.
