Black Shark 2 Pro to come with significant improvements over its predecessor, reveals AnTuTu data

Most popular benchmarking site Antutu reveals new data about the forthcoming device Black Shark 2 Pro. A device with model number “DTL-A0” has been surfaced on Antutu, which is speculated to be the Black Shark 2 Pro. The device scores 4,05,598 points, which is higher than the Black Shark 2’s average scoring 3,75,592 points.

As we can see in the above image comparing the two devices, There are significant improvements in CPU, GPU & Memory department, while, the UX scores are identical to Black Shark 2. Antutu display improvements as CPU increased by 3.3%, the GPU increased by 14.7%, and the Memory scores also increased by 11.7%.

It is worth noting that Snapdragon 855+ chipset, powering the Black Shark 2 Pro, comes with overclocked CPU at 2.96 GHz, almost 4% more powerful than the Snapdragon 855’s 2.84 GHz higher CPU cores. In terms of GPU, there is a notable upgrade over its predecessor as it gets almost 15% boost with increased GPU frequency from 585MHz to 672MHz.

Black Shark 2 Pro Expected Specifications

The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro will arrive with a 1080 x 2340 pixels Ful HD+ AMOLED display. Lately, the company teases an image by disclosing the back panel, that suggests an identical look when it compares to Black Shark 2. Moreover, It will have Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ processor coupled with Adreno 640 GPU under the hood.

As for storage, the handset packs up to 12GB RAM paired with 256GB built-in storage. It will run on Android 9 Pie out of the box. Further, the company is holding an official launch event for July 31, where rest of the specifications will be unveiled.
