Honor 9X soon going to launch in India, Flipkart to become sales partner

Honor India has started teasing the upcoming smartphone that is soon going to make its debut in the country. Company’s official Twitter page asks “Do you Love Your X?” and further added #ItsMyX. It clearly indicates that the company will be launching the Honor 9X smartphone in India. In the meantime, Flipkart’s new page shows the full launch history of Honor “X” series. The last smartphone in this lineup was launched in October 2018, that was Honor 8X.

Speaking to the specs, the company didn’t yet reveal any of the specs. However, the Chinese Honor 9X comes with latest Kirin 810 chipset, but the Indian variant is likely to get a global variant with Kirin 710F. If it goes true, the smartphone will be on the weaker side against its competition. Most of the current mid-range smartphones having latest chipset under the hood. Other Honor 9X global version specs include 6.59-inch 1080 x 2340 pixels Full HD+ LCD display. It runs on Android 9 Pie based on custom EMUI 9 user interface out of the box. As for optics, the device sports triple 48MP + 8MP (ultrawide) + 2MP depth sensor arrangement on the back.

There is a 16MP motorized pop-up selfie camera on the front. The handset packs 4000 mAh non-removable battery with standard 10W charging support. It has multiple storage variants with either 4GB RAM, 64GB / 128GB internal storage or 6GB RAM paired with 128GB built-in storage. The storage can be further expanded up to 512GB via micro SD slot. All the essential connectivity options are available on this device. The phone is crafted with full glass design having an aluminium frame.
