Huawei 30W wireless charger gets approval from FCC

FCC has approved a new Huawei wireless charger with maximum output 30W, but results are yet "Not Complied" suggesting to produce lower outputs. The Huawei Mate 30 series is rumored to use 25W fast wireless charging.

Yesterday, a Chinese blogger had revealed that upcoming Huawei Mate 30 series to use 25W fast wireless charging. Finally, a new wireless charger with model number CP61 has been approved by the FCC with max. output 30W. However, there is no guaranty to achieve its max capabilities as results read it “Not Complied”, which also indicates to confirm the rumor of Huawei Mate 30 series to support 25W fast wireless charging. The nominal results are expected to remain 25W after the final testing.

If we compare it with last year’s CP60 wireless charger, it actually doubles the speed from 15W to 30W wireless output. The same listing also shows the adapter details, that is identical to last year’s charger. The adapter supports 5V==2A, 9V==2A or 10V==4A with max. output 40W. Overall, the company has significantly increased its wireless charging capabilities.

Based on previous rumors and leaks, Mate 30 Pro will have a 6.71-inch curved AMOLED display coupled with an in-display fingerprint sensor. It will have company’s self-made Kirin 990 chipset with the Balong 5000 5G modem for futuristic high-speed 5G technology. The device is speculated to bring a 4,200 mAh battery with 55W fast charging support and 10W wireless reverse charging.

It is speculated to bring a square-shaped camera module on the back, which is speculated to have a triple rear camera with 40MP, 1/1.5″ with a variable aperture of f/1.6 – f/1.4 mail sensor, another  40MP, 1/1.7″, a 120-degree ultrawide secondary sensor and an 8MP telephoto lens third sensor with support of 5x lossless zoom. The bottom is supposed to have a USB Type-C port, a speaker and secondary microphone. The launch is expected to happen in mid-September.
