Huawei Mate 30 Pro real life images leaked ahead of official launch

Huawei Mate 30 Pro real-life images leaked confirming the similar design what we have seen on Mate 20 Pro. The big notch on the top suggests some kind of 3D facial recognition to be integrated on this device.

Huawei Mate 30 Pro has been part of several rumors and leaks in past few months. Taking it further, the device gets yet another exposure in the form of real-life images through Weibo. As shown in images, the company’s engineering can be seen the performing some tests on supposedly called Mate 30 Pro alongside two Huawei Mate 20x 5G units. However, we can’t confirm whether the device is actually Mate 30 Pro or not, but the physical appearance of this device matches with the allegedly leaked front portion of the Mate 30 Pro.

There is a big notch on the top suggesting 3D facial recognition to be integrated on the Pro variant, while, the bottom part of the device is covered with the case; therefore, we have no clue whether there is 3.5mm headphone jack or not. There is a sharp curve on both sides of the display, that resembles the previous leak. Essential, the device seems to follow the Mate 20 path with some important hardware & software upgrades if the recent leaks are believed.

Huawei Mate 30 Pro Expected Features

The Huawei Mate 30 Pro is expected to bring a 6.71-inch curved AMOLED display presumably coupled with an in-display fingerprint sensor. It is expected to pack Kirin 985 chipset with the Balong 5000 5G modem for futuristic high-speed 5G technology. The device is expected to bring a 4,200 mAh battery with 55W fast charging support and 10W wireless reverse charging.

It will have new EMUI 10 UI on the top out of the box. Usually, the company unveils its “mate series” in October month, So it should arrive in the same month. Apart from the Mate 30 Pro, there is another sibling to be called “Huawei Mate 30” included in this series as well. If the rumors are believed, it will have a full-fledged display with hole-punch design to follow the current market trend. Apparently, there isn’t anything official yet, so you can take it with a pinch of salt.
