Huawei surpassed 200 million units sold globally this year

Huawei officially claims that they have sold 200 million units globally before October 22, 2019, this year

As you might be aware of, Huawei had scheduled the Mate 30 5G series launch event for today in China. They have subsequently launched these devices for the domestic market. We have already published a detailed report regarding the pricing availability of these devices. At the launch event this afternoon, the company announced that as of October 22, Huawei’s mobile phone shipments officially exceeded 200 million units this year.

Last year, the company had achieved the same milestone by the end of 2018 on December 25, which is 64 days more than the current year to reach the same quantity of sales. Every 1 second, there are more than 7 Huawei mobile phones shipped. Huawei had completed 100 million devices shipped worldwide on May 30 earlier this year.  In the meantime, the company announces Mate 30 Pro 5G 8GB RAM / 512GB special edition to celebrate the current accomplishment.

The limited-edition device is based on the Vegan Leather Orange and Vegan Leather Forest Green color options, while, the specs remain the same with the celebratory logo imprinted on the back. It will be sold on November 1 via the company’s official Vmall store with limited availability.

Going deep into the journey, the company unveiled that they have sold around 100 million units in 2015 by December 22. The same amount of sales achieved by October 14, 2016, and September 12, 2017, respectively. As we mentioned, these numbers reached 200 million units shipped globally by the end of 2018. Overall, the company is enjoying significant growth year after year breaking its own records.
