MIUI 11 public OTA rolling out to first phase devices, download links available

Xiaomi had recently announced the MIUI 11 Global Stable Beta program, which was limited to beta testers only. Finally, the company has started rolling out public OTA covering all the first base devices, confirmed via official MIUI 11 forum. To recall, Xiaomi had divided MIUI 11 update into four phases. The first phase includes Poco F1, Redmi K20, Redmi Y1, Redmi 7, Redmi Note 7 / 7s / 7 Pro.

All the above-mentioned devices are eligible for updating the latest MIUI 11 public OTA ROM. Furthermore, development has been already started for the second batch, even some of the devices are being pushed for a partial update to random users, most probably those who have applied for Mi Pilot Program. For some reasons, the company has stopped MIUI 11 development for Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Y2, the status reads on the official forum. Therefore, these devices might get late to deliver the latest MIUI update.

Second batch devices include Redmi K20 Pro, Redmi 6 / 6A / 6 Pro, Redmi Note 5 / 5 Pro, Redmi 5 / 5A, Redmi Note 4, Redmi Y1 / Y1 Lite, Redmi Y2, Redmi 4, Mi Mix 2 and Mi Max 2. If you are owning any of these devices, get ready to receive MIUI 11 stable OTA in the next few days. If you want to get the early access, you should apply for the Mi Pilot Program. You might be getting the latest MIUI 11 update within 24 hours once your account gets approved.
