Nubia Z20 to arrive with 8K video recording and flexible display

Nubia co-founder Ni Fei confirms that Nubia Z20 will arrive with 8K video recording ability having a flexible curved display on the top. The device will be officially announced on August 8 along with a new VR headset.

At the 2019 Global Mobile Internet Conference (GMIC) summit, Ni Fei, President & co-founder of Nubia officially reveals that the Nubia Z20 will arrive with industry’s first 8K video recording supporting a flexible display (not flexible indeed), that uses sci-fi sensation technology. Indeed, it will be a second nubia smartphone to sport 8K video recording after Nubia Red Magic 3, that is well capable of recording video up to 4320 pixels at 15fps.

Subsequently, he also confirmed to bring upgraded VR headset to enhance the gaming experience, and further added,  “Mobile phones are increasingly being used as production tools by the video creators, high-grade professional video quality is a priority for the Nubia.”

2019 GMIC Summit

Previously, he shared some camera shots taken by the Nubia Z20 without revealing any specific information. Nevertheless, the market rumors speculate that it will be arriving with 20x hybrid zoom. By the time of posting, we don’t have enough data available to know more about its optics; but these leaks indicate that the company is more focusing on the camera department.

Furthermore, the device is expected to bring Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 plus processor coupled with Adreno 640 GPU. It is supposed to have a 48MP of main camera sensor followed by the supportive sensors. A recently leaked image of the alleged Nubia Z20 suggests adopting full display design to follow the current market trend.

Apart from that, we don’t have any information available regarding its battery, camera, storage, and price. But, the company is holding a launch event for the August 8 in Beijing, where the Nubia Z20 will be announced along with the new VR headset. further, we can see more leaks in the coming days, so stay tuned with us!
