Oppo Reno 3 to be unveiled in December with ColorOS 7 out of the box

As you might be aware, Oppo has today announced ColorOS 7 in China. At the same event, the company also revealed Oppo Reno 3. The device will make its official entry in December with stable ColorOS 7 UI. It will be the first device to bring ColorOS 7 out of the box. The device supports 5G, albeit most of the other specifications are yet unannounced.

If the market rumors are to believed, the device will support 90Hz Full HD+ AMOLED display. The processor is likely to be Snapdragon 735, which is speculated to support dual standalone 5G connectivity. Other specs include 60MP primary camera, 4500 mAh battery, 30W fast charging support, up to 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The handset is likely to run on Android 10 based on ColorOS 7 out of the box. As there is no confirmation by any official source, you can take these specifications as a pinch of salt.

Oppo Reno 2 was announced in August 2019. It features 6.5-inch 1080 x 2400 pixels Full HD+ AMOLED display. Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G operates the device with Adreno 718 GPU out of the box. It has a quad rear camera setup with a 48MP main sensor and a 16MP motorized pop-up selfie camera. The handset packs 4000 mAh non-removable battery with 20W fast charging support. The top variant offers 256GB internal storage and 8GB RAM running on Android 9 Pie with ColorOS 6.1. All the essential connectivity options are present on this device.
