Oppo Reno Ace official teaser confirms Snapdragon 855 Plus processor and 90Hz display

Oppo Reno Ace is set to make its debut on October 10. However, we have learned some of the key specifications from the Chinese certification site, but now oppo officially confirms Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset for the Oppo Reno Ace. As usual, the smartphone sports 90Hz display like other Oppo flagships, and 65W fast charging has been already confirmed.

The company claims that new charging standards can fully charge the device under 30 minutes, which is one of the fastest on any smartphone being sold at present. Speaking to the design, it is quite similar to Oppo Reno 2. But instead of a motorized pop-up selfie camera, Oppo Reno Ace has a waterdrop notch to implement the front snapper.

Based on TEENA listing, the device incorporates a 6.5-inch 1080 x 2400 pixels Full HD+ AMOLED display. It is powered by the latest Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC clocked @2.96GHz. A quad-camera setup on the back with 48MP + 13MP + 8MP + 2MP and a single 16MP front-facing shooter. The in-built storage is 256GB paired with 12GB RAM under the hood.

The handset packs 4,000 mAh non-removable battery, even though the listing misprinted it with only 1,920 mAh battery. Device measurements are  161.0 x 75.7 x 8.7 mm and weighs 200 grams. Android 9 Pie operates the software department running on ColorOS custom skin on the top. Besides, all the essential connectivity features are present there. Overall, a true flagship device from the company.
