RealMe to announce a new smartphone series with RealMe Q on September 5

Earlier, Realme had teased a poster for the new device launch displaying “Queen of heart” on it. Today, the company officially confirms that they will be launching RealMe Q on September 5 in China. This is a new smartphone series introduced by the company. The company itself confirms that it will have quad-camera setup on the back. Moreover, nothing much known about this device.

RealMe CMO showing mysterious smartphone

A few days back RealMe CMO Xu Qi, in his Q&A season, hinted to launch a new smartphone with the high-end configurations like 64MP snapper, which could be the 64MP Samsung ISOCELL Bright GW1 sensor with the 1/1.7-inch sensor size and a pixel size of 0.8μm. The sensor also supports Samsung’s Tetracell technology, a unique moniker for Pixel Binning technology. If you are not familiar with Pixel Binning, It is a technique to combine four pixels into one; therefore, a 64MP camera actually produces a 16MP image.

Apart from that, Snapdragon 855+ could power this device. RealMe CEO for India Madhav Seth, however, told to Gsmarena, they don’t have any plan to launch any flagship kind of device at least in India, but the Chinese market is entirely different. We won’t be surprised if the company launches this device with a Snapdragon 800 series processor. In a different scenario, the device could be just a rebranded version of RealMe 5 series, that was previously announced in India. All in all, these are early speculations, nothing is confirmed yet; So, you can take it with a pinch of salt.
