Realme X2 will have Snapdragon 730G chipset, company confirmed officially

Realme is soon going to launch a new smartphone in China dubbed as Realme X2. Recent speculation pointed out the device will have Snapdragon 730G chipsets, the same device which the company had showcased during the Realme XT launch event in India. Finally, the Realme product director officially confirms that the forthcoming Realme X2 will be fueled by the Snapdragon 730G chipset. Apart from that, the company has already confirmed it to bring the 64MP main camera and a 32MP front-facing shooter for selfies.

Realme X2 Expected Specifications

Based on recent TEENA listing, it is expected to feature a 6.4-inch 1080 x 2340 pixels Full HD+ display. As we mentioned, the handset is powered by the Snapdragon 730G SoC based octa-core CPU. To recall, the chipset is specifically designed for the enhanced gaming experience, therefore, we can expect some additional gaming features from this smartphone.

Furthermore, it has 4,000 mAh non-removable battery likely to get 30W VOOC Flash Charge 3.0 fast charging support. It runs on Android 9 Pie based on custom ColorOS. For storage, there are multiple variants up to 8GB RAM and 256GB of built-in storage. The optics department is handled by the quad-camera setup on the back with 64MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP sensors same as the Realme XT. All in all, it seems to be a slightly upgraded version of the RealMe XT smartphone, which targets the gaming-oriented market. The device will be officially announced on September 24 in China.
