Xiaomi Redmi 8 surfaced on China Telecom website revealing some of the key specifications

The Chinese firm recently launched the Redmi 8A smartphone in India. Now it seems the company is preparing to launch its bigger sibling Redmi 8 in China. The device has been surfaced on the China Telecom website giving us a precise look and some of the key specifications. It will worth noting that a similar device has been already certified by the TEENA with listed full specifications.

Redmi 8 Expected Specifications

The device features a 6.21-inch 720 x 1520 pixels HD+ display on the top. It comes with waterdrop notch design and packs a dual rear camera and a fingerprint sensor embedded underneath. For optics, It has a dual 12MP + 2MP rear camera and an 8MP selfie shooter. runs on Android 9 Pie based on MIUI 10. As far as storage is concerned, the top variant gets 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, while, there are two more variants with 2GB RAM & 16GB storage and 3GB RAM & 32 GB internal storage respectively.

Moreover, the battery pack is 5,000 mAh to keep the lights on. The device is likely to be powered by the Snapdragon 439 processor coupled with Adreno 505 GPU. A rear-mounted fingerprint sensor is embedded. All in all, it borrows most of its specifications from the Redmi 8A, that was previously introduced in India.
