Redmi K20 and Redmi 7 start receiving the stable MIUI 11 update in China

A couple of weeks ago, Xiaomi had announced the latest MIUI 11 user interface for Xiaomi devices. Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro and Mi Mix Alpha were one of the early adopters to test the stable version. Some other Xaiomi and Redmi smartphones have already begun the Beta testing. The company has now started pushing the stable MIUI 11 update to standard Redmi K20 and Redmi 7 in China.

If you have already installed the MIUI 11 beta, the update is being pushed via OTA (over the air). Additionally, you can update using the TWRP method. The OTA size is 689MB for the Redmi K20 OTA and 614MB for the Redmi 7. Both devices get the latest security patch of September month with the latest MIUI 11 stable update. It is based on Android 9 Pie, which is an older version of Android OS. Hopefully, Xiaomi will soon develop the Android 10 based MIUI 11 stable ROM.
