Samsung Galaxy Note 10 series likely to launch in India on August 20: report

Samsung is all set to announce its next flagship series today dubbed as Note 10. Just hours before its official announcement date, we have got some information regarding its launch in India. According to Fonearena report, the Galaxy Note 10 series is expected to launch on August 20 in India. Most probably, Samsung will organize a separate launch event to unpack the country-specific details like price, release date etc. The report further reads that the sales are likely to start from August 23 across the country from various online and offline platforms.

It will worth noting that popular Indian e-commerce platforms Flipkart and Amazon have already opened up separate pages for new Galaxy smartphone unpacking, which is none other than Samsung Galaxy Note 10 duo. These devices are also likely to sell via Samsung e-store, which exclusively sells Samsung smartphones. Interestingly, the same report further makes a claim that Samsung Galaxy Note 10 series’s global sales to start from August 22, that is one day ahead from its Indian release date.

Furthermore, Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus is expected to feature a 6.8-inch 1440 x 3040 pixels QHD+, while, smaller Note 10 will have a 6.3-inch Full HD+ Dynamic AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. These smartphones will be powered by the  Exynos 9825 for global variants, while, some US variants will get Snapdragon 855 chipset. As for optics, the rear camera has a triple camera setup; 12MP primary sensor followed by  12MP telephoto lens and ultra-wide 16MP sensor. On the front, it will be having a 10MP snapper for selfies.

The Note 10 series smartphones will run on Android 9 Pie based on custom One UI skin on the top. The battery capacity is supposed to be a 4,300 mAh battery for Note 10+, whereas, standard Note 10 to a 3,800 mAh with fast charging capabilities. As far as storage is concerned, the devices are expected to get up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.0 built-in storage. We can also see a special edition variant with 512GB internal storage.
