As the launch is coming near, we are being part of more and more leaks of Huawei’s upcoming Mate 30 Series on a daily basis. Today, we have some images spotted on the Chinese social media site Weibo by claiming front panels of Huawei Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro with a wider notch on both. That could be a big surprise for netizens as some previous reports claimed only Mate 30 Pro variant to arrive with a notch, while, the non-pro variant was expected to bring a full-fledged display with a hole-punch design.

But the current leak tells us a different story, where both the devices seem to have identical notch panels (with a different structure) on the top. However, Notch is covering equal space on both devices, but the structure of the holes is differently arranged.

As per seen in above images, around the notch area, five different holes are present on both the variants with a different structure. The Mate 30 Pro is reportedly to bring a 3D facial recognition to utilize these holes, yet we can see a different kind of functionality on the non-pro version. As usual, the Mate 30 Pro seems to be holding a bigger display, while, the Mate 30 will have a small display.

Both the displays are curved on either side, But the Pro variant has slightly curvier than the non-pro version. Needless to say, these are unofficial images, so you can take it with a pinch of salt. Regarding the specs, we have already a precise look of Mate 30 Pro, but non-pro variant still a mystery when it comes to specs.

Huawei Mate 30 Pro is expected to arrive with a 6.71-inch curved AMOLED display coupled with an in-display fingerprint sensor. It will have company’s self-made Kirin 985 chipset with the Balong 5000 5G modem for futuristic high-speed 5G technology. The device is expected to bring a 4,200 mAh battery with 55W fast charging support and 10W wireless reverse charging.

Recently, the company announced EMIUI 10, therefore the Mate 30 series should bring EMIUI 10 based user interface out of the box. All in all, these are speculations and nothing is official yet. For official confirmation, we have to wait a couple of months more, because usually, the company introduces its Mate series in October month.
