Update: Redmi officially confirmed to use Sony IMX686 64MP sensor on Redmi K30 smartphone
Xiaomi is soon going to announce the Redmi K30 smartphone. The official announcement has been already confirmed to take place on December 10. Earlier, there were speculations that the handset may arrive in multiple 4G and 5G variants. Now, the Chinese certifications site further confirmed it. Two Redmi devices, begging model numbers M1912G7BE and M1912G7BC, have been certified by the Chinese telecom certification site TEENA. The listing suggests that these could be 4G variants of Redmi K30.
The key difference we have found that Redmi K30 may arrive with Snapdragon 730G instead of Snapdragon 765G for the 5G variant. The clock speed mentioned on the listing is 2.2GHz, which matches with Snapdragon 730G, while, the Snapdragon 765G clocks @2.4GHz. Moreover, the Redmi K30 will have a 6.67-inch 1080 x 2340 pixels Full HD+ display on the front. There are multiple color options, including Blue, Black, Green, Pink, Red, and White. The handset packs 4500 mAh non-removable battery. It runs on the latest Android 10 operating system, possibly based on custom MIUI 11.

However, the camera configurations are not revealed properly, but we already know that it will have a quad-camera setup on the back with a 64MP primary sensor. On the front, it has a dual pill-shaped punch-hole camera with a 20MP main sensor. As for storage, it has three storage variants; 6GB RAM / 64GB storage, 8GB RAM / 128GB storage or 12GB RAM / 256GB internal storage.
