Vivo Nex 3 exposure; official source reveals dual-curved edge display

Vivo Nex 3 has been one of the most anticipated smartphones of 2019. Yesterday, Nex product manager Li Xiang had confirmed that the upcoming Nex smartphone will have 3.5mm jack. Now, the same source publishes a front glass panel image of upcoming Vivo Nex 3. It essentially matches with the recent disclosure by a well-known Chinese tipster Ice Universe, but this time comes from an official source.

According to the provided image, the forehead has extremely thin bezels. It is entirely clean without any presence of the camera or other sensor cutouts. This seems to be truly a full-fledged Bazel-less display. As expected, the handset adopts a waterfall display said to be 90-degree curvature on either side.

Based on previous leaks, Vivo Nex 3 smartphone may be the first to launch with the in-screen camera technology. Subsequently, Xiaomi is also preparing for this tech supposedly to use on its upcoming flagship Mi Mix 4 and it has already released a prototype; so both the smartphone manufacturers seem to be ready for the in-display camera for their future smartphones.

In regards, the device is speculated to share almost 100% screen to body ratio, which doesn’t seem to be impossible looking at its excessive curved panel. It is expected to debut with Snapdragon 855+ chipset recently launched by the Qualcomm. Rest of the specs are yet unknown. For further updates, stay tuned with us!
