Vivo S1 Pro with 48MP camera, AMOLED display, Snapdragon 665 launched

vivo has launched a new smartphone dubbed as Vivo S1 Pro. Look wise, it seems similar to the recently launched Vivo S5, but specifications are slightly different. Indeed, the company has upgraded the S1 series with a pro variant, which was announced in July this year.

Vivo S1 Pro Specifications

The Vivo S1 Pro features a 6.38-inch 1080 x 2340 pixels Full HD+ Super AMOLED display at 404 PPI pixels density. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor powers this device with Adreno 610 GPU. As for storage, it has 8GB RAM paired with 128GB storage, which can be further expanded up to 256GB via external micro SD card slot. It runs Android 9 Pie-based on FunTouch OS 9.2 custom user interface.

As far as optics are concerned, the device sports with quad-camera setup, a primary 48MP + 8MP ultra-wide + 2MP macro lens + 2MP depth sensor. The front side is surrounded by a 32MP selfie shooter. The rear camera is well capable of recording up to 4K video @30fps. Moreover, the device packs a 4500 mAh non-removable battery with 18W fast charging support. Apart from that, all the essential connectivity options are present on this device. It measures 159.3 x 75.2 x 8.7 mm and weight is approx. 187 grams. There is no doubt it replicates design-wise, but the internals are a bit of different the Vivo S5.

Vivo S1 Pro Price and Availability

The Vivo S1 Pro comes in two Knight Black, Fancy Sky color options. It is priced at PHP 16,000 for the Philippines market, which roughly converts into $315 or 22,000 INR. As for availability, the device is already up for pre-orders in the country, whereas, there is no words from the company for its availability in other markets.
