In the same row, Mr. Lin Bin, the co-founder and vice-chairman of Xiaomi Group, has announced the Xiaomi Mi 10 will have Snapdragon 865 processor under the hood. If the company follows the usual pattern, it should make debut in Q1, 2020.

In a separate announcement from the Redmi GM Lu Weibing, the upcoming Redmi K30 Smartphone will arrive with Snapdragon 765G chipset, that supports SA / NSA 5G dual-mode with peak download speed up to 3.7Gbps. Based on the previous information, the Redmi K30 smartphone will be officially announced on December 10 in China. The Snapdragon 865 utilizes one of the most advanced 5G modems dubbed as Snapdragon X55, whereas, Snapdragon 765 series adopts the dual-mode X52 modem. Moreover, Snapdragon 865 is a flagship chip, which replaces the Snapdragon 855 / 855+, while, the Snapdragon 765 duo is an upgrade over 730 series under a mid-range segment. In the coming year, we will be seeing various smartphones using these processors from different brands.
