Xiaomi MI 8 starts receiving MIUI 11 update based on Android 10

Xiaomi MIUI 11 update finally reaches to MI 8 smartphone. The updated version is MIUI 11 9.10.24, and it is based on Google’s Android 10 operating system. As some might have expected, it isn’t the stable version, but an open Beta ROM. The update is currently available in China. Meanwhile, we don’t have any idea when will it reach the global audience. In addition, the package size is 2.1GB, and it brings the latest security patch of October month.

MIUI 11 is the latest version of Xaiomi’s custom skin. The MIUI 11 brings several new features including Dark Mode, Dynamic Live Wallpapers, New font/icons, redesigned setting menu, and various other features. As always, Beta ROM is not recommended to be installed on your primary device. You may experience some bugs as well as app crashes. But the current beta seems to be reached at a more stable experience; it is pretty much usable. Below is the full changelog provided by the company:
