Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro with five rear cameras confirmed to arrive on November 5

Xiaomi was earlier rumored to launch an upper-mod range smartphone with a Snapdragon 730G processor combined with a 108MP primary camera. Finally, the company has confirmed, the smartphone is making an official debut on November 5 in China. The published poster reveals some interesting facts regarding the forthcoming device.

According to the promo poster, the device will have five cameras on the back aligned vertically. The Penta-lens setup is even more interesting. The three cameras are aligned at the same assemblage. There is another camera with a small gap and a small dot at the bottom of this row. It will have 108MP ISOCELL Bright HMX camera primary camera, that comes with a massive 1/1.33-inch sensor and 0.8μm individual pixels size. The image further confirms the 5X digital zoom. A dual-LED setup is visible alongside the camera module.

Apart from that, the company will also introduce Mi TV 5 and Mi Watch at the same event. Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro is likely to bring the Snapdragon 730G processor, which is specifically designed for the gaming-centric devices. Rest of the specs are yet unknown. Apparently, it appears to be a camera-centric phone as well as some decent gaming capabilities. Overall, the event will take place on November 5 at 2:00 PM (China time), which will be broadcast live on Chinese social media Weibo.

Xiaomi Mi CC9 was announced with a 6.39-inch 1080 x 2340 pixels Full HD+ Super AMOLED display. It has a triple rear camera with 48MP main sensor + 8MP ultra-wide and 5MP depth sensors support. The handset utilizes the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset coupled with Adreno 616 GPU. The device runs on Android 9 Pie based on MIUI 10 out of the box.

There are multiple storage variants available with a maximum of 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. The storage can be further expanded up to 256GB via the hybrid slot. It packs a 4030 mAh non-removable battery with 18W fast charging support. An in-display fingerprint sensor is embedded taking advantage of AMOLED display. All the essential connectivity options are available. The device is also known as Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite in the global markets. We can expect Mi CC9 Pro to borrow some specific features from the younger sibling.
