Xiaomi starts pushing MIUI 11 stable OTA to 12 smartphones in China

Chinese firm Xiaomi had recently announced the latest MIUI version called MIUI 11. To remind, MIUI is a new custom skin from Xiaomi that operates on the Android system for Xiaomi and Redmi devices. The company was already testing the Beta firmware, and some of the devices are already getting a stable ROM in China.

The company has almost completed the first phase and publishes the list of 12 smartphones eligible for receiving the MIUI 11 update from today. These devices include Xiaomi Mi 9SE, Mi MIX 3, Mi MIX2S, Mi 8, Mi 8 Youth Edition, Mi 8 Transparent Exploration Edition, Mi 8 screen fingerprint version, Mi 8SE, Mi Max 3, Redmi K20, Redmi Note 7 Pro, and Redmi 7.

These smartphones have started receiving MIUI 11 stable firmware in China via OTA (Over-the-Air). It will worth to note that the current update is based on Android 9 Pie. So, some of the Android 10 features might be missing. In the meantime, the company either confirms that they are working on Android 10 based MIUI 11 for Redmi K20 Pro, Mi 9 and other popular models. Based on the provided roadmap, these devices should get stable ROM before the end of October. We are looking forward to hearing further information!
